Mariah Klapatch

Mariah studied theatre at Interlochen Arts Academy before earning a B.F.A. in film production from the Kanbar Institute for Film and Television at New York University. Mariah basked under the Los Angeles sun for eleven years before she met a dog on Beech Hill and decided to buy him a house to live in, with her, in Owls Head. While in Los Angeles, she experienced many facets of the entertainment industry, practicing a shocking number of skills. She is a sound creator, writer, producer, and director and will jump into a few other departments when needed! She has worked on feature films, including Island Zero (2018) a horror feature she produced. She has worked in television, commercials, music videos, and podcasting. In 2012 she began to also work as a consultant helping organizations as diverse as NASA and Earthjustice communicate more openly and with more humanity to better serve their missions. Her specialty is creating collaborative environments and relationships and wouldn’t you know that ended up being very relevant to her work in entertainment!
